Mildred May Foshag, 81, of Roanoke, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 10, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Jenny Chislet; brothers; sisters; and her son, Larry L. Foshag. Mildred was a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Hugo W. Foshag; granddaughter, Amanda Leigh Foshag and husband, Jeffery Scaggs, of Charlotte, North Carolina; daughter-in-law, Linshaw Foshag, of Roanoke; and niece, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2011, at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. Mark Hicks. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home, 540-366-0707.
