Wanda Durst Welch, 79, of Blue Ridge, loving wife and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother joined many loved ones in the presence of Jesus on Monday, December 20, 2010. Wanda leaves her husband of 55 years, Jack; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Duane Mitchell, Lori and Dick Braford, Son, Jeffrey; grandchildren, Justin, Ricky, Mattie, Joshua, Melissa, Rachel and great grandchildren; Kaylee and Kaden. Also surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Esther and Mel Martin; many nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends. Wanda's greatest desire is that the circle will be unbroken. A celebration of Wanda's life will be held 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Parkway Wesleyan Church 3645 Orange Avenue Roanoke, Va. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. 366-0707
