Bob Ray Moffitt, 81, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 8, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wives, Nancy R. Moffitt and Marcia G. Moffitt. Bob was a longtime member of New Life Christian Ministries. Surviving are his son and daughter in law, Michael J. and Teresa Moffitt of Ambridge, PA; grandchildren, Amy Teresa Moffitt of Arlington; Benjamin Michael Moffitt and wife Elizabeth of Colorado Springs, Colorado; great granddaughter, Emma Grace Moffitt; brother, Cyril Banks of Clemons, North Carolina. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to CBN Operation Blessing. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. Scott McLucas. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
