Robert M. Morgan, "Bob"," Hot Rock", " Paw Paw", 78, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at his home in Hardy, Virginia. He was born on January 25, 1932, in Woosley, West Virginia, son of the late Denny C. Morgan and Georgia D. Morgan. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Morgan attended Pineville High School in Pineville, West Virginia and Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Lena Tolley, Lonida Rose, Lessa Marsh and Doris Tiller; brother, Ray Morgan. He is survived by his two sons, Scott C. Morgan and wife Amy; Kirk M. Morgan and wife Tamela of Roanoke; and daughter, Kimberly M. Greene and husband Douglas of Kittery, Maine; his grandchildren, Alexi, Ashton, Alden, Aaric, Cecilia, Gretchen and Caleb; sisters, Patricia Toot, Linda Hollinsworth, Ann Wimmer and brother, Rolland Morgan. The family will receive friends at Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday November 9, 2010. A Memorial service celebrating Bob's life will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Gutierrez officiating.
