Linda Broughman Pulz, 59, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, on Wednesday February 15, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Edward and Hattie Sprouse Broughman and a brother James Broughman. Linda worked as an LPN for many years at Community Hospital. She retired from the Lewis Gale Clinic in Salem and was a member of Peters Creek Church of the Brethren. Surviving are her husband, Larry E. Pulz; sister, Sandra (Sandy) Broughman of Roanoke; nephew and niece, Adrian and Lisa Broughman of Lynchburg; and her very special dog, Karmen. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made either to RAM House or to the SPCA. A graveside service will be conducted at noon Saturday, February 18, 2012 in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens by Pastor Jack Lowe. A celebration of Linda's life will be held at 1p.m. on Saturday at Peters Creek Church of the Brethren 5333 Cove Road Roanoke, Va. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
