Howard Dempsey Ward 59, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Thursday, October 14, 2010. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Dempsey, and Dorothy Gill Ward, brother Jackie Lee Ward and nephew J.W. Ward. Howard is survived by brother, Charles Ward and wife Judy of Wirtz. A number of Nieces and Nephews including; Sabrina Crowe and family of Roanoke, Melissa Whorley and Family of Roanoke. Not to mention numerous friends. A service celebrating Howard's life Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 10 A.M at Simpson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time.
