Peggy Marye Matz Booth 74 of Roanoke, VA passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2010. She was preceded by her parents, Edgar Matz and Lunsey Carter, husband, Pryor M. Booth; and a son, Michael Alan Booth.
Surviving are her sons, Thomas James "Tommy" Booth of Roanoke, VA. Robert M. Booth; brothers, Larry Matz and wife Frances, James Matz and wife Ardith and Randy Matz; sisters, Ginger Smith and husband Henry and Betty Gill and husband John; grandson, Matthew Booth and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Peggy was a devoted and loving mother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be conducted 2:00pm Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory. 5160 Peters Creek Road. Roanoke, Virginia 24019 by Chaplain Todd Conn. The family will receive friends following the service. Arrangements handled by Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory, 366-0707.
