Elsie Roberts Gravley, 81 of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Gravley Sr.; parents, Joseph and Flossie Roberts; four brothers and two sisters. Surviving are her daughter, Ann McGuire and husband, Kenneth, and son, Charles W. Gravley Jr., all of Roanoke; granddaughter, Stephanie T. Morgan and husband Paul, of Salem; brothers, Joesph T. Roberts and wife, Myrna, of Richmond; and Arthur M. Roberts and wife, Jean of Pulaski; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 AM Tuesday, September 28, 2010, in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Paul Sink. The family will receive friends from 6 PM to 8 PM Monday at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, 540-366-0707.
