Gary Allen Dooley 38 of Roanoke has died. He is survived by his parents, Sharon and Larry Reynolds, Gary and Mila Dooley; half brother, Thomas Dooley; grandmother, Alice Mills; Aunts, Deborah Elkins, Sandra Dooley, Aryetta Dooley; cousins, Susan Richardson, Richard Elkins, David Laing, Douglas Clark; great aunt; Evelyn McAllister; great uncle, Robert Mills; "adopted family", Larry Kreader, Aaron Kreader, David Hurd, Roy Decoster, DJ Jones, Dennis Stephenson and numerous other cousins and friends. Gary was a gentle soul who has now found peace in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.
A memorial service will be held at Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory, 3pm, Saturday, October 2, 2010. Friends may visit with the family from 2pm till service time. Family requests no flowers but consider making a donation in Gary's memory to either the ASPCA or the American Cancer Society. Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory are handling the arrangements, 366-0707.
