Helen L. Daniel, 81, of Hollins, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2010. She was born in Tolleytown, West Virginia, to the late George and Carrie Hutchinson. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit; and son Lee. She is survived by her sons, Kermit, and wife, Betsy, and Paul and wife, Jackie; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Kermit and Helen were well known for their years managing Valley Cleaners. Services celebrating her life will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, August 29, 2010, at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke Virginia, with a graveside service immediately following in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friend from 2 PM until service time. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Family Service of Roanoke Valley or Local Office on Aging.
