Leslie A. "Les" Keith, 71, of Roanoke passed away Thursday, August 19, 2010. Born April 25, 1939 he was a son of the late Corbett Elmer and Lucy Jane Jones
Keith of Tazewell County, Va. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Keith. Les retired as a warehouse supervisor with the
Kroger Company after 30 years of service. He served in the U S Army, was an avid car colector, and a member of the Roanoke Racing Pidgeon Club. Surviving
are his wife of 52 years, Altha Colene Glover Keith, sisters, Lillian Hammond, Joyce Billips, Phyllis Rytle, Dorothy Manning, and a devoted friend, Mike
Anderson. A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park by the Rev. Mike Ennis. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. 366-0707.
