James (David) Hoback, 41, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday,
July 21, 2010. His hobbies included sports, music and making the best French
Toast that anyone has ever eaten. He was the kindest, gentlest person you
would ever meet. Surviving are his sons, Shayne Hoback, Cameron Hoback, and
Zachary Hill; parents, James Douglas Hoback, and Betty Ann Deaton Hoback;
grandmother, Ella Mae Deaton; brothers, Tim Hoback and wife Desiree, Chris
Hoback and wife Angye; Ebben Wade Hoback and wife Lisa; Jerry Lee Hoback and
wife Lauren; and a number of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family
requests that memorials be made to the David Hoback Memorial Fund c/o Wachovia Bank 3442 Orange Ave. Roanoke Virginia 24012. Funeral services
will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2010 at Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory
by Dr. Wayne Sellers. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12 a.m. Monday until service time at
Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory 5160 Peters Creek Road Roanoke Va. Arrangements by
