Dreama Simmons Frye, 60, of Roanoke, Va., went home to be with the Lord, Friday, July 15, 2010. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret McCoy Simmons and father, Hubert Simmons. Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Ronnie Frye; children, Brad Frye and wife, Jenny, Chris Frye, Melissa Nicely and husband, William, all of Roanoke; grandchildren, Brooke Frye and Ryan Frye; sister, Bonnie Caldwell and husband, Jerry, of Eagle Rock; three nieces and one nephew. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Foundation. A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2010, at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, by Dr. J. Michael Palmer. The family will receive friends following the service.
