Ricky Dale Tolbert, 55, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Friday, October 17, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Ida Phillips Tolbert. Surviving are his brother, Emmett (Bobby) Tolbert and wife Serena; sisters, Vickie Martin and Donna Tolbert; special friend Betty Agee; and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, October 20, 2014 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road with Cole Keister officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
