Mark D. Holman 55 of Rocky Mount went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 2, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded by his parents. Mark was employed by Ply Gem windows in Rocky Mount, Va. Surviving are his fiancée Penny Saunders. Mines; sons, Brandon, Jeremy, Michael, Matthew; daughter, Stacy; brothers Randy and Kevin Holman; step mother, Bobbi Holman ; best friend, Debbi Shockley; faithful companion, Thor and a host of other relatives and close friends. A memorial service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, February 11, 2012 in the Simpson Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00pm till service time.
