Norma Jeanne Catron Allie 78 of Roanoke went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday August 15, 2014. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, William "Red" Clyde Allie, a son, Chuck "Polack" Piotrowski, grandson, Charles Piotrowski, III, great grandson, Hayden, her mother, Thelma Blessard and a brother, Thomas Blessard. Mrs. Allie retired from Roanoke College Housekeeping Department after many years of service. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Poteet of Roanoke; sons, John Piotrowski of Arizona, William Shane Allie of Roanoke, step daughter, Theresa Lyon of S.C.; daughters-in-law, Kathy Piotrowski, Stephanie Smith Allie, Jean Piotrowski, and Nora Piotrowski; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Lloyd of Salem, along with a host of other relatives and friends. Donations may be made to the Richfield Retirement Community in her memory. A graveside service celebrating Mrs. Allie's life will be held 10:00am Wednesday August 20, 2014 in the Fair View Cemetery with Rev. Hooter Horton officiating.
