Jonathan Richard McNutt, 50, of Roanoke passed away peacefully and went home to be with our Lord, Tuesday, August 5, 2014. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Beulah McNutt, and Dora Assaid. Jonathan was a 1982 graduate of Northside High School and worked in the Home Improvement Business for many years. Surviving are his loving parents, Charles and Delores McNutt; brothers and sisters, Alan McNutt and wife Julie, Beverly Brooks and husband Dennis, Lisa Elliott and husband Bruce, Paul NcNutt and wife Rosemary, Elizabeth Palmer and fiance George; numerous nieces and nephews, and a dear family special friend, Luis Orama. The family offers a special thank you to the staff at Trinity Mission of Rocky Mount and the staff in the 9th floor ICU unit at Roanoke Memorial Hospital for the comfort and care. A memorial mass will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2014 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church by the Rev. Louie Bennett. The family will recieve friends from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. 366-0707
