Anne Shelton Anderson, 77, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Thursday, January 26, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband James (Jim) Anderson. Mrs. Anderson retired from Grand Piano and Furniture Company after many years of service. Surviving are her daughter, Anne Neal and husband Jerry of Goodview; sons, Jack Harman and wife Cindy of Eden, North Carolina; Ed Harman of Louisville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Marty Neal and wife Karen; Tim Neal and wife Rentae; Jessica Peters and husband Kenneth; Adam Harman; great grandchildren, Colin, Corey, Taylor and Cody Neal; Jasmyn Peters; sister in law, Gertrude Shelton of Axton; and a number of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the Alzheimers Association. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday at Simpson Funeral Home 51660 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. Troy Mays. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. Sunday until service time. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. 366-0707
