Malinda Mae Franklin, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday June 21, 2014 at the Salem Health Rehabilitation Center. She was born on May 8, 1924 in Franklin County, Virginia to the late Charlie and Malinda Bell Franklin. Seven sisters and three brothers also preceded her in death.
Malinda accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful and active member of Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church serving on the Senior Choir and as an Usher for many, many years. Malinda loved the Lord and gave her very best in His service, loving every minute of it.
Those left to cherish her memory are nieces and nephews, sister-in-law, other relatives and friends.
