Virginia G. Shelton, 93, of Salem, entered her heavenly home on Friday, January 20, 2012 from the Brian Center in Fincastle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Lula Grim; husband, Lonzo Shelton; and five brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her sister; Thelma Dooley, of Roanoke; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, January 23, 2012, at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, by Dr. Darryl G. Crim. Interment will be in Troutville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Simpson Funeral Home, 540-366-0707.
