To the Kilburn family, There are no words I can say to ease your grief, I am turning to the scriptures to give real comfort. 2Corinthians 1:3, 4 says "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." The scriptures gives us a real hope of being reunited with our loved ones again right here on earth. God has resurrected humans in the past He promises to do it again at Acts 24:15, John 5:28, 29 . Psalm 37:29 says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth and they will reside forever upon it." He also promises to do away with death at Revelation 21:3-4 "GOD...will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." It is my hope that you too can draw comfort from these scriptures.
