Obituary of Earl Wright

Earl Robert Wright 59 of Roanoke "followed the moon home", Monday March 31, 2014. He was preceded by his father, Earl R. Wright and a brother, Jessie Wright. Earl was a lifelong dishwasher, working faithfully for Ragazzi's Restaurant for over 10 years. Earl truly enjoyed riding his bike he rode it everywhere, if you see Earl, you seen his bike. He was a private person, but also enjoyed being around people and his coworkers. A very loving and caring son, brother, friend and person, he will be dearly missed by all. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Lucille Wright; four sisters, Barbara Pickering and husband Albert, Mary Wright and companion, Tommy, Delinda Hall, Judy Wright and companion Eddie; three brothers, Bobby Wright and wife Kay, Wayne Wright, Tom Wright; Along with a host of other relatives, friends and coworkers at the restaurant. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with the services. A memorial service celebrating Earl's life will be held 2:00pm Saturday April 5, 2014 in Simpson Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00-8:00pm Friday April 4, 2014 at the funeral home and also from 1:00pm till service time Saturday.
