Mary Baber Hurt Page, 90, of Roanoke (formerly of Lynchburg) went home to be with the Lord, Friday, January 6, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Martha Ann Baber, husband Lathan Page, children, James Hurt, Jr., Ralph and Raymond Hurt, daughter, Linda Holyfield, grandson, James E. Hurt, III, great granson, Tyler Hawley, brothers, Richard and Pete, sisters, Ollie, Lou, Emma, Eula, Catherine, and Lucy. Surviving are her son, Frank Hurt of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister, Nita Heflin of Fredericksburg; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2012 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. Carlton Duck. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
