The Bible gives us the wonderful prospect of seeing our loved ones again on a paradise earth. At Psalms 37:9-11 & 29, it gives us the hope of living forever on a paradise earth. It will be a time when Isaiah 33:24 will take place and “no resident will say ‘I am sick.” On this paradise earth, Rev. 21:4 promises us that “death will be no more.” I know this may not relieve your deep grief at this time, but please take faith in God’s promises. To my (our) beautiful Mom, Momma, Nana, Sister, Nana Pete, Nurse - We will miss you. You put up a good fight Lady. Never will forget you and times we had growing up. The camping, driving accross the US with the family, the walks and runs on the beach in California, the coffee times we had at the kitchen table, all the holidays when we were kids even when we were grown like now with our own families. It is very hard to make these last couple days a reality but I know that God has you and you are watching us all even though your kiddos' are spread all over the world. Your children and grandchildren and that precious Great grand children will miss you deeply. We were blessed to have you in our life here in this Universe and will meet again on the FLIP SIDE! I told you that almost a year ago when I came from Dubai just to see you and go up and see Dad. We as all families had big UPS and big DOWNS but at the end of the day of our life here on this earth God chose you to be my Mother (our Mother) and you did the best you could. I love you Mom and I know I didn't say it enough, sorry.... Your spirit will be in my prayers every day. Please put a good word in with the Big Guy! Stay at Peace and hug your mom, dad, Goldie and John. Give Bear dog a very long walk like you always loved to do. I will miss you Mom. I can't stop thinking about how you always lived by the Serenity prayer and it would drive nuts, but this week I got it! Thank you. I keep reading it and remembering the more difficult something is, the more God is going to multiply me, after this transition I know I won't come out the same but better than before because I will always remember I had you as my Mom! My dearest Sophie, the times we shared at Burrell are the best memories of my life. We had so Many good times there are too many to share. We got snowed in at work for several days, taking turns supervising and sleeping anywhere we could find a spot. All the wonderful times with our residents, all our talks out on the smoking block. Me, you and Linda...inseparable! I love you and will miss you greatly. You can turn in them chips now....you won't need them!
