Ron Mohler 73 of Daleville has gone to be with his Lord on Friday, October 25, 2013. He was preceded by his parents.

Mr. Mohler attended Melrose Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school, was a member of the Melrose Senior Mens Class and the Melrose Senior Choir. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration from George Mason University. In his spare time enjoyed woodworking, studying calculus and was always reading to learn and expand his mind. He especially enjoyed good company and good humor. A loving husband, father, and friend that will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Sue Mahler; daughter, Dianne and son-in-law Frank of Daleville; his very dear and special friends, John and Pat Tickle of Roanoke; and his best canine friend, Migo.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Melrose Baptist Church Building Fund in his memory.

A funeral service celebrating Ron's life will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in Melrose Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Sprouse officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday October 29, 2013 from 5:00-8:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home.
