Obituary of Dennis Evans Quesenberry

Dennis E. Quesenberry sadly passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, after a brief illness. A Vietnam Veteran, Dennis lived by a code “Right was right. Wrong was wrong. There were no grey areas.” His two passions were shooting pool and the Washington Redskins.

He is survived by his daughter, Kesha Quesenberry; sisters, Jean Murphy and Jane Huffman; nephews, Evan, Cody, Kayden, and Koa; nieces, Dakota and Ava; cousins, Steve (Liz), Joe (Peggy), Connie, Loretta, Ruby, and Lisa; two special friends, Terry and Art; and many other friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Basil and Fujie Quesenberry; and grandparents, Hobert and Bertha Quesenberry.

The family will have a Memorial Service on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 2:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019.

The family will have Military Honors at the graveside at a later date.
