Obituary of Donald Dean Martin

Donald D. Martin, 67, of Troutville went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 10, 2024.  He was preceded by his parents, Harry and Shirley Martin, his twin brother, Ronald G. Martin, and a daughter, Christina Mullins.

Mr. Martin retired from Salem Ready Mix after a long career in trucking.  He was an avid outdoorsman.

Surviving is his wife of 30 years, Diane Manning Martin; sisters-in-law, Sandy Klein and husband Tom, Barbara Webb; as well as numerous cousins and friends too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road.  Interment will follow in Troutville Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home.  540 366 0707
