Obituary of Leona Ruth Coleman

Leona R. Coleman, 67, of Roanoke, went home to be with the Lord on February 9, 2024. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her grandbabies were her pride and joy. She was preceded in death by her mother Margaret C. Amereihn; sisters, Joy Jewell, Norma Feaster, Nancy Cole, P. Nathleen Winiarski; brothers, Bruce, and Charles Jewell.

Leona is survived by her loving husband Francis L. Coleman; daughter, Rebekah L. Daniel and her son-in-law, Lee E. Daniel II; grandchildren, Trinity N. Coleman, Jordian W. Daniel, and Kenzie L. Daniel; father, Richard H. Amereihn; sisters, Barbara Ports and Linda Hamilton; as well as multiple nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Hope Bible Church, with a dinner to follow. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home Peters Creek Road Chapel. (540)366-0707.
