Obituary of Stephanie Michelle Oliver

Stephanie Michelle Oliver, 38, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024 at her home. She was the daughter of Lydia Charlene Oliver and the late Lloyd “Kenny” Oliver. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Loretta and Thomas Oliver; Imogene “Beanie” Faucette and Robert Buckner; uncles, Jimmy and Aaron Oliver.

In addition to her mother, she will be missed and remembered by her brother, Rob Oliver; niece, Trinity Oliver; aunt and uncle, Sharon and Jimmy Spencer along with their children; her furry companion, protector and confidant, Face; her children not by blood, but by love, Nicholas Stefan Quarles and Alicia Mattox; as well as many other friends and family.

She worked for many years as a Newspaper Courier in South Roanoke and gave devoted service to her customers. She was a giving, positive and selfless individual who put others before herself. She loved to draw and paint and had a genuine love of children.

The family will receive friends from 2 pm to 4 pm on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made the Angels of Assisi, the Roanoke Valley SPCA or the church of your choice.
