Obituary of Bonnie Kingery Snyder

Bonnie Kingery Snyder, 79, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 22, 2023.  She was preceded by her husband, Donnie Snyder; parents, Annie and Lester Kingery; sister, Sandra Johnson; and brothers, Marvin and Wayne Kingery.

Bonnie retired after 30 years of service with Elizabeth Arden.  In the recent years she worked for Walmart in Salem. She was a devoted and selfless wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Surviving is her daughter, Michelle King (Barry); grandchildren, April Craft (Michael), Dylan King (Taylor), and Kyle King; great grandchildren, Hayleigh Daniels (Ethan), Bryce Craft, Trinity Craft, and Axell King; brother, Doug Kingery (Linda); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was loved and adored by everyone in her life. She never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Pastor Chris Kingery.  Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home.  540 366 0707
