Biff and I have fond memories of visiting "Jimma" (As we recall and can still hear the sound of Becky's voice calling for her dear husband!) and Becky in 2 of their beautiful and welcoming homes. For certain, another limb has fallen from your family tree. In this world , we have plenty of aunts, uncles, cousins, beautiful sunsets, rivers and stars in the sky, but only one mother. Honor all that your mother loved and forever cherish your times shared together. May Becky rest in eternal peace.
Love, Lois and Biff Jones

As our neighbor, Becky was one of the first people we met when we moved here from out of state. She was a wonderful blessing. We had the pleasure of meeting her family and enjoyed talking with her about her life.
We so enjoyed her 90th birthday celebration. Becky was always dressed to perfection and was always so gracious to give others compliments.
We pray for her family at this time of loss but know they have a treasure of joyous memories.
As her neighbor we will miss all of you!

Becky was an amazing woman who gave so many people her love and joy of life. She will always have a significant place in my heart. We did lots of things together and made great memories: going to church Sundays and stopping for breakfast after, visiting ladies from the church who were home bound.
Becky and I shared a wonderful relationship as we visited each other in our homes, playing cards, doing puzzles and sharing our thoughts, plans and love Her presence will continue with the love, and many blessings she gave.
Becky was a grand and gracious lady who shared her love, understanding and support to others who were proud to call her a friend. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her treasured family.
So we celebrate her life and know she is now in her heavenly home with her loved ones who preceded her.

In the late 90s, to 2000’s, my husband and I made frequent visits to the mountains and truly the OVERHOME became our home away from home. We booked dozens of times at their bed and breakfast and often would come back from boating to share stories and apple cider vinegar “shots” at the end of the day:) Becky and Jimmy made us feel at home. She taught me how to make her pimento cheese but I never could learn her biscuits. One time, we were there and it started snowing hard so we decided to book another night. Becky “let” my husband Greg in her kitchen and he made a big batch of his famous chili then we sat by the fire watching football, eating and telling stories. The game where backup Tom Brady came in for first game to save the day! The warmth of the stone fireplace is so vivid for us. When we booked at the OVERHOME, we would also go to Church. And at Easter, Becky was so proud Jim had made a cross for UMC church and couldn’t wait to show us. I will always remember the enthusiasm for trips “over the mountain” in the SUBURU outback (they were big fans), but mostly the deep love and how proud they were of Cal, Beth and Laura and grand kids! Oh! We loved the stories! Becky was a true Southern Lady (GRITS), generous, kind with such grace. She will be missed by so many.

I didn’t know them well or for long but just long enough to love them both
I got to stay at Overhome one night with friends. What a loving , gracious hostess Becky was . I marveled at her talents.
Truly a life well lived!
May God bless the family with sweet memories

Becky was a faithful member of St. Mark’s UMC where we met. She was the embodiment of an elegant southern lady. I wish I had known more about her. One of the first girls I met when I went to Virginia Tech was from Red House. I had never heard of it. Also, while living in Winchester, I dined at both of their restaurants.
I was fortunate to see her again after COVID when she was shopping with her son. She was such a sweet lady and I know she’ll be missed by many.

I surely called her dear friend, tho it has been many years since last I had the pleasure of 'sitting at her table' at OverHome!.....she and Jim were a witness for love and marriage..working side by side, using their God given gifts! Absolutely amazing, the transformation in each of their endeavors..and most humble in accepting praise!
I rejoice in knowing she is celebrating new life with loved ones...and will forever remember with great fondness her sweet and kind spirit!
Blessings of peace and joy for her devoted family.

Oh how I loved Miss Becky. She was full of grace and grit and there is no one else like her. She welcomed you with warmth and open arms from the moment I met her. She made you feel special and loved and it was always a joy being in her presence. She will truly be missed but I am so happy that she is with her beloved husband Jim and that their picture perfect reunion will be oh so joyous. I can hear the angels singing now. RIP Miss Becky. You were an angel on earth and now you're right back in God's Kingdom where it all began. xoxox
