Obituary of April Crowe Starr

April Crowe Starr(DOB 4/25/58), 65, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Monday, September 18, 2023.  Preceded in death by her loving partner of 40 years, Elizabeth Jane Keith. Her parents Anna (Albert) Weeks and Lawerence (Shirley) Crowe.  Two brothers: Ralph Crowe and Larry Crowe.  

Surviving is her daughter, Tosha Adams and daughter in law Michelle Rudge, 6 grandchildren.  Autumn (Robert) Collins, Michael (Megan) Adams, Jeremy Adams, Blake Adams, Noah Adams-Rudge and Gabriel Adams-Rudge and one Great Grand daughter, Alex Collins.  Also surviving are two sisters: Trina Crowe, & Glynis Crowe and two brothers Tony Crowe & Lawrence (Dune) Crowe and  numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Angels of Assisi.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Pastor Troy Mays.  The family will recieve friends from 10:00 a.m. until Noon and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Simpson Funeral Home.  (540)366-0707.
