I was very saddened to hear about Toni's passing. Our families grew up together on Cantle Lane in Roanoke, VA. We attended the same school and the same synagogue. Toni contacted me not long ago. She told me she had moved back to Roanoke, that she had been attending a church and had gotten her first bible. I am sorry that we did not have the opportunity to get together, but I have the hope of seeing her again in heaven. My prayers are with all of Toni's family. May you find comfort in the Lord and in His promises.
John 11:25
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

I am saddened by the loss of my friend from school. I have fond memories of hanging out with Toni and others from the 70s. When the days were longer, the sun was brighter, the music was once in a lifetime, and it was a peaceful time when people didn’t hate so much. There was freedom, love, and so many fun times, too many to note on here. I was happy to hear from Toni just this year, as it had been a couple of decades since we were in touch. God bless Toni, her family and friends. Love, the Class of 1978. Cave Spring Knights.

Toni and I were "talk on the phone daily" friends for what seems like most of my life. She was fun, smart, adventurous, athletic, and beautiful. I was hoping to see her this fall at our high school reunion.
In addition to being a great friend, Toni was also a devoted mother who loved her children fiercely. I am so sad she has passed but I am comforted knowing she is at peace.

This photo was in 1986 at the occasion of the naming of my sister's son. It was at my parent's home on Cantle Lane in Sugarloaf, which is where our family and the Landau family lived. Toni looks so classy and thoughtful, which along with her intelligence is how I remember, and will remember her. I feel fortunate to have known Toni then and to have called her a friend. May joyful memories of those days and later with whom Toni shared her life be how we remember Toni.

Toni and I were inseparable as child hood friends , went to Girl Scout camp , religious school - which her family traveled from Bedford for her to attend. and shared many childhood experiences growing up in Sugar Loaf. She was a very important part of my childhood and have so many fun memories. Love and prayers for her family… and I will always hold Toni in my heart for the bonds we shared.

I was married to Toni for almost 20 years. I can't say our relationship ended well, but I will only speak to the great times we had and the wonderful aspects of her life that I knew. She was very athletic and for years was a dedicated runner. She also studied karate for several years which eventually led to her study of shiatsu. Throughout her life she was attracted to spiritual pursuits. She ran a half marathon with me and was always lifting weights and keeping herself in shape. Toni so wanted to be a mother and the birth of her son, Eli, was one of the crowning moments of her life. Around late 1999, she decided she wanted to adopt a daughter from China. She worked so hard, over coming every obstacle over the course of a two year period to make our adoption possible. Finally, the whole family went to China in Dec, 2001 to bring home our daughter Mia, another wonderful moment in Toni's life. Mia just graduated from college in May. She loved her children with great passion. She was a good wife and mother. She had a flair for decorating and home design, and really made our home comfortable. She was smart and kind. Although I couldn't understand some of her beliefs in the past several years, like everything Toni was committed to, she was wholly committed to them. Although she really wasn't in my life for years, in recent months, I thought perhaps, especially for the good of our children, I could find some way to bridge the tumult that defined our relationship. There are regrets that we all have in our lives. Regrettably, that will be one I will always live with. I will forever remember the good times we shared. I hope she is at peace.
