Gerry was the mother of one of my best friends here in Roanoke, Cindy Keller. We were all three in the FBLA together. Our friendship continued through the years and we usually would get together to celebrate my birthday every October. I loved and respected Gerry. She was an awesome friend and individual. She will be missed.
"Mac" as my mom always called her was my mother's
best friend. They worked together at RMH on the maternity ward. They became extremely close and were traveling buddies and bowling partners for many years. I think they found solace in each other after Mac lost Ken and my mom lost my dad. Mac was always there for me and mom when Ruth (my mom) became disabled. Mac, Susan and Cindy will aways hold a very fond place in my heart. I hope the memories you all have made will comfort you.
I have lost a very dear friend. No words can explain the joy and adventures we shared hiking,wild flowering,traveling,beach trips.Every one that met Mac immed,loved and respected her,
