Josephine Debnam Dailey, 78, of Roanoke (formerly of Venice, Florida) went home to be with the Lord and those that have preceded her on Thursday, August 1, 2013. Waiting for her there were her parents, Doug and Winnie Debnam, sister, Saralou Caliri, daughter, Debra Kaye Miller, grandson, Nicholas Miller, and great granddaughter, Isabella Serenity Constancio. Surviving are her children, Cynthia A. Edleman and Wayne Baran, Kathleen Y. Johnson and fiance Robert Burns, SFC Ret. John B. Miller, Jr. and wife Jennifer, Toni J. Miller and Merle D. Miller, 21 grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren, one great grandchild, sister, Susan Poole McGraw; nieces and nephews, Colleen Ramsauer, DeeDee Numan, Linda Caliri Cloud, John and Jim Caliri. A special thanks to the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice for their many acts of kindness especially nurses Amy and Marci. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Rescue Mission or to Good Samaritan Hospice. If Mrs. Dailey could leave us with one piece of advice it would be: "Always find humor in everything" A private graveside service will be held Saturday, August 3, 2013 in St. Barnabas Cemetery in Snowhill, NC.
