I’m new to St James. Jackie made me feel so very welcome from the first Sunday I visited. I will miss seeing her in her pew and sharing the Peace with her. She was a lovely lady!
A mother of warriors
Ms Jackie was a mother of warriors she gave birth to three and had many adopted sons and daughters who were warriors !This marine met Ms Jackie shortly after losing my earthly mother she was loving and kind and let me know it was OK to have feelings something that Iraq had stopped me from.doing .that was the beginning of a special relationship between her and I she became my Irish mother and pope I called her every few days and we became family I became friends with Keith and sandy and they welcomed my family into theirs.she became a grandmother to ellie Bella and Annie thru pictures I would send her weekly and we had our old Irish neighborhood chats every Tuesday morning for past coulple.of years .we always enjoyed our Thanksgiving turkey runs sharing memories of new England and sipping on dunkin doughnuts hers would be plain cake doughnut senior coffee as Keith and i.would have regular .I will forever be thank she met ellie when she was first born seeing her smile seeing her Irish granddaughter will be a memory ill never forget.she was a woman of faith and prayed with warriors and gods warriors so rest easy my Irish mother and know we all miss you but we will meet again in heaven till then you will look.down on us and guide us as a mother of warriors
