Obituary of Margie Ellen Cain

Margie Ellen Kisner Cain, 84, of Vinton, VA, went home to Jesus on Friday, June 30, 2023, while in her home.

Margie was born in Fairmont, WV, to Richard and Virginia Kisner on June 15, 1939.

Margie was a Loving mother, grandmother, and sister to her family. She played piano and organ in multiple churches for 50 years. Margie was also a self-employed piano teacher, who loved teaching children and adults alike.

Her Love for the Lord, family, life, and her funny sense of humor will be missed until we see her again. Thank you for being such a Loving Mother; we’ve been Truly Blessed and Love You more then you’ll ever know.

Margie is survived by her daughter, Kathy Pentaleri ; son, Leamon Cain III (and wife Emily); grandson, Josh Pentaleri; sisters, Carol Reese and Etta Lynn Slack; brothers, Donald Kisner and Denny Kisner; and brother-in-law, Chuck Reese.

Margie was preceded in death by her father and mother, Richard and Virginia Kisner.

The family would like to give Gentle Shepherd Hospice a special thank you as their wonderful staff did a great job caring for Margie.
