Gary Ashby Lee, 83 of Roanoke (formerly of Arlington, VA and Sarasota, FL) passed away Saturday, June 2, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jabe A. and Verda Underwood Lee; and wife, Jane Hersee Lee.
Gary retired from the United States Government working for many years as an Economist. As a youth he served as a page for Congressman Richard H. Poff.
Surviving is his brother, Danny W. Lee; and cousin, Annette Lee Sumpter.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimers Association.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
