Obituary of Gary Wayne Clark

Gary Wayne Clark, 75, of Roanoke, passed away, Saturday, April 8, 2023. Gary was a loving father, brother, uncle, and grandfather. 

He is survived by his sister, Linda Hodges; son, Trevor Goins and wife Cristi; daughter, Beth Price and husband Chris; grandchildren, Haley and Nate Goins, Celia and Calie Felter. Gary was preceded in death by his significant other, Judith Goins. 

Gary was born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia. He graduated from William Fleming with the class of 1966. Upon graduation Gary, served for 5 years in the United States Army Reserve. After his service to his country, Gary served his community for 34 years and retired from the City of Roanoke Fire Department as a Captain. Gary was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing and spending time in Highland County Virginia and in the Outer Banks, NC.
