One thing I remember about Malcolm the most is his smile! Malcolm's smile would light up a room and he was always the life of the party. I have had the pleasure of knowing Malcolm for many years. One thing I could count on was he was always my dancing partner. I sure will miss you Malcolm and will always remember the good times we shared. Love you and miss you! ❤️ Rest easy my friend

Malcolm was always happy and full of energy, and he always wanted to talk and take pictures! He was a pleasure to work with these past 4 years and he will be remembered fondly.
We love you Malcolm!

Malcolm loved spending time with his friends. He especially loved time with his girlfriend, Anne, and his best friend, Ralph.

I am honored to have known Malcolm for the last 16 years. He had character that left a mark on everyone's heart. He lived with enthusiasm and joyfulness. Even when in what must have been extreme pain- Malcolm would never complain. He was very brave as his life ended, telling folks that he loved them and assuring us that he was alright.
We will celebrate your life in a fashion that you would be proud of Malcolm -It's been an honor!
Godspeed my friend!

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Malcom?
A: my favorite quality about Malcolm was that no matter what he always had such a hopeful and excited outlook for each and every day of life. making him laugh was always one of the best ways to always brighten my day. I am extremely lucky and honored to have known him for the time that I did. Malcolm buddy I'll miss you but Im sure I will see you again later down the road when it's time.

Malcom was a very sweet guy. I used to love to visit him when it was warm and sunny. We would sit on his back deck. He would show me all of his watches. He was a sweet soul.

One of my favorite memories with
Malcolm is actually a semi recent one- I had the pleasure of attending the Valentine’s Day Dance in 2022 at the Hotel Roanoke with Key Living Options, Malcolm included. Every year they do several small random door prizes and one BIG door prize. Malcolm (and lots of our other individuals) get VERY excited for these prizes. However, Malcolm was even more excited this year because the big prize was, A WATCH. Anyone that knows Malcolm, knows what a huge deal this was. So Malcolm and I are standing up front when they stop the music to announce the big winner. I had been trying to prepare Malcolm all night in the event he wasn’t the winner, it was okay we’d still have a good night, etc. So I again reminded him, “hey listen even if they don’t call your name it’s okay we still had fun, there’s lots of people here and lots of names they’re choosing from…” and about that time the announcer belted through the microphone “MALCOLM DUDLEY” and I think you could’ve heard me screaming with excitement over top of him hahaha. I could not believe of all people, he won the year it was a watch!! He was filled with so much joy that night, and so was I, thanks to him.

Q: How would you describe Malcom to someone who had never met them?
A: Malcolm was a lovely guy who never met a stranger. He loved his ball caps, watches, and good food! Malcolm kept everyone he knew entertained with stories of his past and reminiscing about his childhood. We will miss him dearly! Love you buddy!
