Myra Hamlett Hodges, 96, widow of James B. Hodges, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Carson and Pearl Barnard Hamlett. She was also preceded in death by five siblings.
She was a long-time member of Enon Baptist Church. She worked at Heironimus Clothing for many years prior to retirement.
She is survived by her son, Sherman Muncy and his wife Dorothy; a brother, Irvin Hamlett (Ann); as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road. Interment will be private.
