Obituary of Billy Joe Foster

Billy Joe Foster, 83, of Salem, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Billy is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sharon “Sue” Foster; daughter, Lisa Marie Foster; son, Mack Brewer (Jennifer); grandchildren, Mackenzie, Rhett, and River; sister, Linda Kay Hickson (Calvin, retired Pastor); niece, Sherrie Hickson; and multiple other family members.

Billy retired after working 30 years for Yokohama Tires, where he was a Supervisor. He made friends easily and was a wonderful husband and father. He loved the outdoors, especially when it involved hunting or fishing. He often gathered with friends from the neighborhood in his garage to watch races or ballgames.

The family will have a Celebration of Life Service at a later date at Riverside Methodist Church.
