Obituary of Melinda Ann Taylor

Melinda Ann Taylor, 50, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 20, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darin J. Taylor; and her parents, James Baldwin and Barbara Sluss.

Melinda is survived by siblings, Jessie Davis (Phoebe) and Kimberly Davis; nieces, Kori Davis and Brittany Burton; great niece and nephew, Maleah and Braydon; and numerous other family members.

She loved her animals and her great niece and nephew. She had a big heart towards those who knew her. She fought valiantly against cancer.

The family will have Chapel Service on Friday, February 24, 2023, at 1:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019, with Pastor Elmer Clemons officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior from 12:00pm – 1:00pm. Interment will be at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home.
