Gary “Goober” Sink, 67, of Salem passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023 in Bridgewater, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Mason Sink and Dixie Ann Carroll Sink; brother, John P. Carroll; and an infant sister, Mary Ann Sink.
Gary worked for many years as a concrete finisher with the City of Salem.
Surviving are his brothers, Daniel Linwood Sink, Sr. (Lillian), Howard Sink (Ruth), and Ronnie Lee Sink; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Simpson Funeral Home. 540-366-0707
