Obituary of Bobby Lee Carroll

Bobby L. Carroll, 91, of Roanoke, peacefully passed away on Thursday February 16, 2023. He was born on August 12, 1931 to the late Wood David Carroll and Ellen Eliza Carroll. Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife Alma Adams Carroll, his 2^nd wife Charlotte Foutz, his daughter Sharon Davis, his son Steve Carroll, his brothers Henry Carroll, Linwood Carroll, George Carroll, Gene Carroll, Frank Carroll, his sisters Emma Parker, Ollie Bush, Pearl Newton, Frances “Duck” Crum.

He is survived by his Special Lady Friend Kathy Shealor, his sister Betty Severa and special friend Fred Altice; his children Scott Carroll and wife Martha Carroll of Winchester, Kevin Carroll and wife Patty Carroll of Roanoke, Kathy Carroll and partner Cindy Lindsey of North Carolina; His Daughter-in-law Raelene Carroll of Virginia Beach; his grandchildren Annie Chowns, Whitney Davis, Kelly Davis, Johnny Carroll; his great grandchildren Nate White; Shaun Gower, Bailey Chowns, Carter Chowns.He also leaves many loving nieces, nephews and family members that he also loved very much.

Bob enjoyed a long career with The Grands Home Furnishings family and enjoyed boating and playing music with friends and family in retirement. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of:  Friendship Assisted Living, Friendship Health and Rehab Center North and Good Samaritan Hospice.

The Family will receive friends from 12 to 1 pm at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road on Monday February 20, 2023, service will follow at 1 with Pastor Scott Hamilton officiating.
