Obituary of Patrick Andrew Morris

Patrick Andrew Morris, 65, widower of Evelyn V. Morris, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. He was born in Naples, Italy and was the son of Iona Mae Catt Morris and the late Letcher Keith Morris. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Benjamin M. Morris and David K. Morris.

Patrick was a veteran of the National Guard and worked in retail sales for many years. He loved his dogs and going for walks. He will be remembered as an avid reader and a practical jokester.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step children, Gina Hodges and Daniel Plybon; siblings, Allison Fenix, Michael Morris (Debbie), Marcia Fralin (Mark), Mary Myers (Randy), Theresa Rhea (Gary), Joseph Morris (Angela); as well as numerous other loving family members.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023 in the Chapel of Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road with Rev. Greg Irby and Father David Stanfield officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
