I just learned of “Mama Gibson’s” passing. She had a day-care in her home and she took care of me from age 6 weeks until age 4 while my parents worked. I have very fond memories of Mama Gibson; she was my second mother during my early years. I last saw her a few years ago and she somehow still recognized me and spoke of her memories of caring for me. She was very nurturing to all the children she took care of. My sympathies to her family.
