Suzanne Elise Austin, 40, went to be with the Lord on January 18, 2023.

Suzanne was born in Roanoke, Virginia on July 29, 1982, and graduated Northside H. S. in 2000.

She will be remembered for her quirky sense of humor and her love of writing, cross stitching, butterflies and sunflowers.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Charles and Winifred Austin, maternal grandfather Harold Crocker, Uncle James Austin and Cousin Joey Cannon.

Left to cherish her memories are daughter Sydney Leigh Perkins, Soulmate Janard (Jay) Stowes, parents William Austin (Donna), Diane Blankenship (Bill); brothers Bryan Austin (Erica), Chris Austin; maternal grandmother Betty Crocker, Uncle Robert Austin (Leslie), Aunts Susan Cannon (Jack), Lisa Zerna (Candelario), Jennifer Jamison, Neal Crocker, Cousins Sarah Heck (Matt) and KC Austin(Laura), nieces & nephews Kyler, Maddox, Emerson, Logan and Aubry Austin.

Also keeping her in their thoughts are Sydney’s Dad Kevin Perkins and his parents Ronald and Linda Perkins.

Suzanne lived life to the fullest and was loved by many.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Simpson Funeral Home on 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Rescue Mission Ministries, https://rescuemission.net/donate/
