Joyce Anne Martin, 79 of Roanoke, VA passed away January 24, 2023
Joyce was born in Bedford, Virginia on April 9, 1943 and grew up at the Virginia Baptist Children’s Home in Salem where she met the love of her life, the late Donald R. Martin (1942-2016). She was the daughter of Willie H Tucker and Georgie Witt Cox.
She is survived by her son, David Martin and wife Cindy of Harrisonburg; daughter Cheryl Overfelt and husband Doug of Roanoke. Her favorite name was “Nana” to her grandsons, Paul, Dylan and Cole. She is also survived by her nephew Darren Overfelt, brothers Bobby Tucker and Ricky Tucker, brother/sister-in Rodney and Beth Martin, and brother in-law Gaither Logwood.
Private services will be conducted at a later date.
