Obituary of Peggy Wright Kitts

Peggy Ann Kitts was born in Roanoke, Virginia, to Gordon and Addie Wright. After a long and happy life, she passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 91, surrounded by family and beloved pets. She had a zest for life and loved working in her flower garden. She was predeceased by her parents and her loving husband of sixty-six years, Gene Edward Kitts. She will be sadly missed by her two children, Steve and Bruce, daughter-in-laws Donna and Cindy, grandchildren Colin, Chelsea, Lindsey and Scott, great-grandchildren Dresden, Owen, Emerson and Shepard.

She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Roanoke.

The family will be forever grateful for the care given to her by Carilion Hospice.

A graveside service will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on January 11 at 11am with Reverend Wayne Gadman of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Roanoke, VA. Simpson’s Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.
